Town Council meetings are held at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre. Beginning in January 2024, regular meetings of the Council will be held at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. On legal holidays, the meeting is held on Tuesday or a date established by council resolution the previous month.

Meetings are broadcast live via the Zoom platform.
The council meeting video will be posted on the town website and Facebook page on the Wednesday following the meeting.
Two question periods are open to residents wishing to express themselves. Under By-law 348 on council meetings, a first question period of 15 minutes is provided at the beginning of each meeting, during which any resident may ask questions only on the items listed on the agenda, while a second period of 30 minutes is provided at the end of the meeting for questions on any subject.
Any resident may attend the public meetings. Access is provided for individuals with reduced mobility who wish to attend. The mayor presides over these meetings; the elected officials, the Town Clerk, and the Director-General all participate. The president maintains order and decorum. Also, if necessary, special meetings are called.
Residents are invited to send their written questions by 3:00 pm on the meeting day to facilitate the question period. We invite you to submit them by email info@ville.hudson.qc.ca or drop them directly in the mailbox at Town Hall, 481 Main Road, Hudson.
