Procedure to follow

If you wish to apply for a revision, you must:

  1. Fill out the form entitled “APPLICATION FOR REVIEW OF THE REAL ESTATE ASSESSMENT ROLE” (a French-language version is also available in hard-copy format at the MRC offices at 280 Boulevard Harwood, Vaudreuil-Dorion).
  2. Return the fully completed form to the MRC office or send it by registered letter.
  3. Attach payment for the required fee. See the application for review form (above) for fee details.

Property Assessment

Subject to the Act respecting Municipal Taxation, the Town of Hudson uses a chartered appraiser to determine the value of buildings and land throughout its territory. Following assessment, the Town determines the amount of the tax notice to the taxpayer.

Is updated every three years

Is based on the market value of properties

Property visits

To comply with The Act respecting municipal taxation, The Town of Hudson must conduct an inventory of all properties on its territory at least once every nine years. An on-site visit ensures the accuracy of the existing data for each property. To this end, the evaluation firm “Les Estimateurs Professionnels Leroux, Beaudry, Picard & Associés inc.” has been mandated to conduct this year’s inventory. Visits will begin in April 2022.

The firm’s representatives will carry a photo ID and an identification letter signed by an authorized Town representative.

Visits are authorized from 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday. Evaluators are required to inspect the interior of your house and photograph its exterior if deemed necessary.

Do not hesitate to contact us at 450-458-5347 or should you have any questions.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
