Property Assessment

Subject to the Act respecting Municipal Taxation, the Town of Hudson uses a chartered appraiser to determine the value of buildings and land throughout its territory. Following assessment, the Town determines the amount of the tax notice to the taxpayer.

Property Assessment :

Is updated every three years

Is based on the market value of properties

Is based on an inspection of each building at least every nine years. Visits from representatives of the evaluation firm Les Estimateurs Professionnels Leroux, Beaudry, Picard & Associés Inc. will begin on Monday, October 16th, 2017 and will end no later than July 27th, 2018.
