16 Sep Street resurfacing operations: 17 September to Mid-October 2026
This year, 6 streets or sections of streets will be resurfaced (see below). The process begins September 17, and is planned to be completed within 4 weeks, barring any delays.
• Hemlock

5. Finishing
The work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will take several days from start to completion.

• McNaughten, between Lakeview and St-Jean : 17 September.
• St Jean, between Cedar and Cameron : 17 September.
• Evergreen : 18 September.
• Brisbane, from Hilltop to the end of the street: 18 September

What residents can expect
During construction, residents should expect:
• Increased construction noise and equipment activity;
• Temporary restrictions on access to private properties while work is underway;
• Possible delays when entering or leaving properties; and
• Temporary changes to normal traffic and parking arrangements.
Residents are asked to follow the instructions of the contractor and Town personnel and, when possible, plan vehicle movements around the construction activities.
Driveway connections
Connections to private driveways will be completed toward the end of the work, once the roadway has been paved.
Important: For properties with Unistone (interlocking stone) driveways, the existing driveway may need to be cut back approximately 1 meter from the edge of the roadway to allow for a proper connection to the new pavement.
Driveways will be connected to the new road surface using the existing driveway material as much as possible.
You can access your driveway but could be delayed for up to 30 minutes if work occurs near your property.
Waste collection services will not be interrupted.
The Town appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation while this important road improvement work is completed. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this work might cause.
