Silver Screamers Documentary Screening at Hudson Village Theatre

National Seniors Day is October 1. To mark the 15th anniversary, the Town of Hudson, Hudson Village Theatre and the Hudson Film Society will present a special screening of Silver “Screamers” at 7:30 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.). Free admission, limited seating.
Silver Screamers (94 min, 2025) follows a group of seniors who set out to create an amateur film inspired by Edo van Belkom’s short story The Rug. Guided by a local filmmaker, they tackle the challenges of low-budget moviemaking with humour and resilience, gaining confidence, forming new friendships, and proving that creativity has no age limit.
The short film The Rug (12 min) will be shown after the documentary.
