To celebrate Earth Day, the Town of Hudson is giving away 130 trees to residents on April 26th.
Registration is required
♣ Registration is now closed; thank you for your participation!
♣ One tree per civic address. Trees are reserved on a first-registered, first-served basis
♣ The earlier you register, the better your chance of receiving your first choice.
You can choose among three species of trees :
- Red Maple – OUT OF STOCK
- Native Hardwood
- Large tree with spectacular autumn colouring
- Prefers soils with high humidity
- Produces samaras
- Planting distance from power lines: 10
- Cockspur Hawthorn – OUT OF STOCK
- Native Hardwood
- Small tree with white flowers appreciated by pollinators
- Rustic and suitable for several types of soil
- Produces berries (drupes)
- Planting distance from power lines : no restrictions
- Virginia Ostryer – OUT OF STOCK
- Native Hardwood
- Small to medium tree
- Tolerates shade well
- Produces fruit clusters
- Planting distance from power lines: 5 m
You will receive an email confirmation of your registration and the species reserved.
We will do our best to give you your first choice!
You must pick up your tree on ♣ Saturday, April 26th between 9 am and noon in the parking lot of Town Hall (481 Main Road). ♣ You will be asked to show proof of residency, which must include your full name and address.
