SCOTS, WHA HAE !
Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and lyricist (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796). He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. On Saturday, January 25th, the Hudson Legion will be hosting their annual Burns Supper in the Hudson Community Center. Celebrants will gather in the Legion at 5pm and the festivities commence in the Community Center at 6pm.
Tickets are $48 per person and will be on sale at the Legion Bar. They must be purchased in advance as there will be no ticket sales at the door.
So, mark your agendas, call your friends, shake the creases out of your kilts, get out your tartans and dancing shoes, and prepare for a great evening of good food, yes there will be haggis, entertainment and dancing as we pay tribute to Scotland’s national poet on his 266th birthday.
What better way to banish the January blues than good company, great music and a “wee dram”!
