The Town of Hudson announces the launch of a series of public consultations that will play a crucial role in shaping the community’s future. Under the theme “Let’s Create Our Future Together – Count Me In!” residents are invited to actively participate in the development of three major projects that will lay the foundation for Hudson’s Strategic Plan.
Parks and Green Spaces Master Plan
The Town of Hudson is pleased to invite its residents to participate in developing its first Master Plan for Parks and Green Spaces. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the urban planning consultancy BC2.
The Master Plan will help identify the needs of all users of these spaces and will serve as a basis for planning interventions in the parks over the next 10 years.
A project of such magnitude can only achieve its goals if the residents, the primary users of these spaces, can guide the Town regarding their needs and wishes for the future.
Thank you to the 600+ individuals who completed the parks and green spaces survey! The survey period is now closed.
REGISTER TODAY to attend the public consultation session (in person only) on Wednesday October 23rd at 7 pm at the Community Centre.
Don’t miss out— make your voice heard.
Please note that a targeted questionnaire and discussion groups will also be organized, by invitation, with certain sports, recreational, community, and educational organizations.
The participation of many residents, both in completing the online survey and attending the public consultation evening, is essential in shaping the future of our parks and green spaces. We hope to count on your input!
For any questions or further information, please feel free to contact us by email at info@ville.hudson.qc.ca
From October 7th to 27th send us your feedback by completing the survey.
The Town of Hudson would like to know the opinion of its population regarding the protection of natural areas on its territory. This survey, conducted by the consulting firm Habitat, in collaboration with the Town of Hudson, is the first step in a public consultation process. The results of the consultation process will guide the Town of Hudson in the development of a conservation plan aimed at the protection and sustainable management of natural areas on its territory.
For the purposes of the survey, a natural area is defined as a forest, wetland, shoreline or body of water. A natural area is undeveloped and may include trails. The conservation of a natural area implies that the area will remain undeveloped, but that improvements such as the addition of public access could take place. The survey lasts 10 minutes and consists of 21 questions. It is completely confidential and anonymous. Completion of the questionnaire constitutes consent to participate in the survey.
