Écocentres: Temporary Measures Following the Heavy Rains

Due to the flooding caused by the torrential rain on August 9th, the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges is announcing temporary measures at the Ecocentres Network to accommodate residents with waste to dispose of, ensuring that it is processed through the Ecocentres Network and not sent to landfill.

To meet residents’ needs, additional opening hours will be in effect from Sunday, August 11 to Sunday, August 18:

Vaudreuil-Dorion (2800, rue Henry-Ford, Vaudreuil-Dorion)
• Tuesday to Friday: 8 AM to 7 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM to 5 PM

Saint-Zotique (2050, rue Principale, Saint-Zotique)
• Tuesday to Sunday: 8 AM to 5 PM

Rigaud (32, rue de la Coopérative, Rigaud)
• Monday, Thursday to Sunday: 8 AM to 5 PM

Pincourt (750, boulevard Olympique, Pincourt)
• Tuesday to Sunday: 8 AM to 5 PM

There will be no volume limit or fees for materials brought to the Ecocentres Network by affected residents, and no authorization will be required for those presenting materials from another address.

Accepted materials will remain the same as usual, including construction materials and metal and non-metal bulky items. Materials that have been in contact with water will now be accepted during the recovery period related to the torrential rain, starting immediately.

Feel free to consult our Tricycle tool for any questions about accepted materials at our regional Ecocentres: https://tricycle-mrcvs.ca/  or call 450-455-5434 to reach the Ecocentre Info line.
