Public notice is hereby given by the undersigned, Town Clerk of the Town of Hudson, of the following:

At its regular meeting held on Monday, November 4, 2024, Council adopted the following draft By-Law:

“BY-LAW 772-2024 ON COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS”

In accordance with an Act respecting land use planning and development (chapter A-19.1), a public consultation meeting will be held on November 18, 2024, at 7:00 PM, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, located at 394 Main Road, Hudson.

The purpose of this public consultation meeting is to explain draft By-Law 772-2024 the object of which is to:

• Allow the Town to adopt a global approach in order to better control the development of sectors still available, particularly in relation to the protection of natural environments; and
• Establish that a by-law on comprehensive development programs for these sectors is an essential complement to the applicable traditional urban planning regulations.

During this meeting, the person presiding will explain the draft By-Law and will hear every person or body wishing to express an opinion exclusively on the draft by-law.

The draft By-Law 772-2024 is not subject to approval by way of referendum.

This draft By-Law is available for consultation on line and at the Town Hall, 481 Main, Hudson, during working hours which are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 to noon on Friday.
