The Hudson Creative Hub is delighted to invite you to the vernissage of artist Mona Turner on Sunday, February 8, at 2:00 pm. Mona is a member of Artistes Hudson Artists group and participates in the Hudson and Region Studio Tour; she has served on the executive committees of both associations. Mona is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists.

“Living in a rural environment and spending time outdoors observing and listening opens my mind to the myriad of lives and energies, the buzz of a thousand umwelten. I watch birds that sometimes seem determined, sometimes playful, and I wonder what they see through their monocular eyes, two views at once. With this series of paintings, I explore not only the appearance of the landscape but also the feeling of being a part of it.”
