StoryFest 2024 presents: Nahlah Ayed

Tuesday, June 11th, StoryFest 2024 welcomes Nahlah Ayed, an award-winning broadcaster, writer and the host of CBC’s Ideas, to the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre at 7:30 pm. She will talk about her brand-new book, The War We Won Apart. It is (until now) the untold story of two elite agents – one Canadian, one British – who became one of the most decorated couples of World War II.As some of you already know, the French-Canadian soldier, Major Guy d’Artois, and the adventurous British Sonia Butt have a significant history with Hudson, where they lived for many years and raised their six children.
