MOZAÏQUE – Workshops to launch the farm season!

To usher in the 2026 farm season, please join us on April 3rd at the Community Centre for some crafting, seeding, eating, and socializing!

WORKSHOPS OFFERED:

Mosaic workshop with Monica Brinkman
– $25 for adults
– $10 for kids (must attend with an adult)
A repeat of last year’s super fun workshop, mosaic your own planter and take it home with you!
We suggest around two hours to finish your project.

Needle Felting workshop with Mary Vuorela
– $15
Make a felt project and take it home with you!
Needle Felting Workshop with Mary Vuorela $15
Hour long sessions from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
We suggest about one hour to complete your project.

Seed workshop with Barbara Larder
– By donation
Come join us for a fun seed workshop! Learn what seeds look like, play a game and help the Heartbeet Farmers plant their Spring seeds. All ages are welcome, and everyone goes home with a potted seed!
Repeated throughout event!

Seedling demonstrations and advice from the Heartbeet Farm Team
– Free!

REFRESHMENTS
Lunch, snacks, tea, coffee (and more) available for purchase.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
– Workshops are repeated simultaneously throughout the event.
– Choose one, or do all of the workshops… and have lunch too! Customize the event in a way that fits your schedule and your interests.
