Join Hudson resident, Dr. Kevin Solarik on Saturday, September 21st at 11 a.m. at the Hudson Community Centre to kick off National Forest Week as he shares his expertise and explores the future of our forests in the face of a changing climate. This free talk will take place in English.
The first 75 attendees will receive a tree seedling!
Dr. Kevin Solarik is a forest ecologist and biologist who explores the vital role of forests in our changing world. His work focuses on how forests respond to natural and human disturbances, climate change, and biodiversity conservation. He holds an M.Sc. in Forest Ecology and Management from the University of Alberta, and a Ph.D. in Biology from UQAM.
