Culture Day 2025
As part of Culture Days 2025, the Town of Hudson invites you to two free events that will allow you to discover a part of our local culture.
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, 394 Main Road.
11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.: Dance and music workshop for children with Donna Stewart, including songs, dance, and musical games for kids. We will jam with instruments, write a song, dance to music from around the world and play games!
3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Workshop with artist Allana Benham, who will share her expertise through an exploration of drawing with light and shade. We will use still-life objects illuminated with good lighting to create a sense of space and atmosphere in our drawings. Suitable for all levels of experience; beginners welcome! Note: We recommend wearing old clothes as this technique can get a little messy!
Space is limited, and registration is required for the drawing workshop.
