REQUEST FOR A MINOR EXEMPTION

FROM ARTICLE 505 OF 

ZONING BY-LAW 526 AND

WRITTEN CONSULTATION

The Hudson Town Council, at a meeting to be held at the Community Centre, 394 Main Road and by videoconference on Monday, March 7th, 2022 at 7:30 pm, will rule on a request for a minor exemption for the property located at 176 Main Road and known as lot 1 833 928 of the Quebec Cadastre, for the following purposes:

  • Authorizing a lateral setback of 3.41 meters instead of the required minimum of 4.5 metres and a rear setback of 5.89 metres instead of the required minimum of 9 meters as prescribed by section 505 of the Town of Hudson’s Zoning By-Law No 526 and indicated in the uses and standards table for zone R-10;

In accordance with Order 2021-054 dated July 16th, 2021, the public consultation meeting is being accompanied by a written consultation.

Any interested person may be heard by Council by submitting written comments no later than Monday, March 7, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. or by coming in person before the Town Council members with regards to this request at the Council meeting of March 7th, 2022.

To be eligible, a written comment must be:

  • sent by email at: greffe@ville.hudson.qc.ca, or
  • dropped off in the Town Hall’s mailbox at 481 Main, Hudson to the attention of the Town Clerk.

All comments received will be sent to Council prior to the meeting.

Access to the Community Center Hall to attend the council meeting in person and to be heard verbally is limited on a first-come, first-served basis to a maximum capacity which will be established according to the public health guidelines in effect. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Vaccine passport will be required.
