Smoke alarm verification program

Hudson firefighters are currently checking smoke alarms in a number of homes on the territory, in accordance with the Fire Safety Cover Plan. This year, the visits will take place in the Como Gardens neighborhood, as well as in all the residences located between Quarry Point and the eastern end of the town.

The purpose of these visits is to verify the condition and proper operation of your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. These devices are essential to protect you in the event of fire or the presence of toxic gases.

The visits are conducted by groups of 2 members and take place between the months of April and November each year. Visits take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
