Wondering what all the hype is about or never heard of this healthy tonic?
Kombucha is an ancient, naturally effervescent, fermented beverage made from sweet tea. Often infused with fruits and other botanicals, it tastes great and it contains beneficial nutrients, enzymes and acids that improve digestion, increase energy and boost immunity.
Come to the Hudson Food Collective’s new space in centre of town for this 1.5 hour workshop for the skills and confidence to make this nutritious, healing beverage at home. It’s not hard (and significantly less expensive than buying it at the market), it just requires a little love and attention!
KOMBUCHA PART ONE: First Ferment (First Thursday of the month)
You will learn what kombucha is, why you should include ferments as part of your regular diet, and how to brew your own at home.
Each participant will receive their own kombucha culture, starter liquid and brewing instructions. Follow-up support via email is offered to ensure your brewing success!
