Public notice is hereby given by the undersigned, Town Clerk of the Town of Hudson, of the following:

At its regular meetings held on Monday, May, 2nd, 2022, Council adopted the following draft By-Law:

“BY-LAW 751-2022 CONCERNING THE SANITATION, OCCUPANCY AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS”

In accordance with an Act respecting land use planning and development (chapter A-19.1), a public consultation meeting will be held on May 31st, 2022, at 8:00 PM, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, located at 394 Main, Hudson.

The purpose of this public consultation meeting is to explain:

  • Draft By-Law 751-2022 the object of which is to grant municipal officers powers of intervention when a building is poorly maintained or abandoned.

During this meeting, the person presiding will explain the draft by-law and will hear every person or body wishing to express an opinion exclusively on the draft by-law.

Draft By-Law 751-2022 is not subject to approval by way of referendum.

This draft By-Law is available for consultation on the Town of Hudson website.
