Public Conversation: How to develop differently?

An invitation from Mayor Hutchison:

Dear housing with care providers and managers, mayors and mayoresses, developers, promoters, real estate agents, Town Planning Advisory Committee members, merchants, neighbours, journalists and all who may be interested in this question,

It is with great delight that I invite you to the Public Conversation 1 on How to develop differently, an exchange with Luc Maurice on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Community Center, 394 Main, Hudson QC.

I will share with you at the start of this conversation how Luc and I came to work together some twenty years ago and how the experience has changed how I look at development projects and what they may bring to a community when done well and with the support of the residents and municipal actors. I will then ask Luc to share his experience and advice for small towns like ours on how to attract care providers, affordable housing options and preserve the cachet of our town as we are faced with the pressing needs for different housing typologies and care facilities. Not all of Le Group Maurice projects started as large new builds.

I hope that you will be able to attend!

Please share and bring along your friends, colleagues and loved ones who may be interested in this conversation. I look forward to seeing many of you there and working with you all on how to develop differently in Hudson and its vicinity.

Le Groupe Maurice works to improve the quality of life for retirees across Quebec by designing, developing, and managing new residential solutions that promote inspired living, freedom, and happiness for today’s seniors and future generations.
