21 Aug Potential work stoppage in the railway sector
Important negotiations concerning work conditions are taking place at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited (CPKC) and the Canadian National Railway Company (CN). On August 9, CPKC stated that it was considering imposing a lockout as of Thursday, August 22nd unless there is progress in the negotiations.
What this means
Such a lockout would make it impossible for exo to maintain train service on line 11 Vaudreuil/Hudson
Contingency measures
The exo teams are preparing for such a scenario and a contingency plan is under way.
- At the Hudson station, you will still be able to use the regular service bus lines 21 and 40
- Shuttle 1 will take you: from platform 13 of Vaudreuil station to platform 21 of the Côte-Vertu metro station between 5 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., and from platform 21 of the Côte-Vertu metro station to platform 13 of Vaudreuil station between 3:15 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
