Closure of Ski Trails and Rinks for the Season
With a few tears (and a lot of water), we announce the closure of the outdoor rinks and ski trails for the 2025 season.
It was a short but enjoyable season. We look forward to seeing you back on the trails and rinks next year!
We have 3 rinks at your disposal:
- Benson Park: Skating oval. The oval is illuminated until 11 pm and the chalet is open
- St Thomas Park: 3 on 3 hockey rink: The rink is illuminated until 11 pm and the chalet is open
- St Thomas Park: Skating oval: the skating oval is not illuminated directly but has some secondary lighting due to the radiated light on the hockey rink
- To create and maintain the ice surface, daytime temperatures must stay below -50C, and nighttime temperatures must stay below -100C
