- Brenda Étienne, a language and culture teacher in the community of Kanehsatà:ke, the Mohawk land on the shores of the Lake of Two Mountains, across from Hudson
- Eric Cardinal, Seize03, an expert-consultant in historical and working relations between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples

- Mei-Lyn Freeman, the Principal Director of Hudson Forest Play, a small non-profit organization in Hudson focused on child-centered, land-based pedagogy
- Hudson Arts and Culture Council (HA&CC), a group of volunteer citizens appointed by Town Council with the mandate to provide perspective and guidance on matters relating to arts and culture within the Town of Hudson
- Chloe Hutchison, Mayor of the Town of Hudson
This workshop will include:
- An introduction to ancestral rights and territorial recognition
- Why Land acknowledgements exist and how to create a more meaningful experience
- The role of local governments and citizens with regards to the 94 calls to action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission with Indigenous Peoples
- A round table discussion on Truth and Reconciliation and the evolution of Indigenous to non-Indigenous relation since the Kanehsatà:ke resistance in 1990 to the present day
- A look ahead on actions and perspectives; where do we go from here?
