Be a Fire Prevention Superhero and participate in The Great Escape on Wednesday, October 9, 2024!
We invite you to participate in this year’s Great Escape exercise.
Great Escape is an excellent opportunity for your family to test their fire evacuation plan.
Every year, fire departments in Québec drive around in their town with their lights and sirens activated to simulate your smoke detector sounding. When you hear the fire trucks coming, we invite you to put your fire safety evacuation plan into effect, exit your home, and meet at one common area away from the house. This is an opportunity to practice your fire drill to see if everyone knows what to do in an emergency.
On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6 pm to 8 pm,
The Hudson Fire Department will be driving around the town with lights and sirens activated to simulate the sound of your smoke detector.
Please come out and show us you are prepared for a fire emergency.
Be prepared! Use the EVACUATION PLANNER to plan your evacuation. The time you spend practicing your evacuation plan could make the difference in a real fire emergency.
For more info, call the fire prevention department @ 450-458-5347, ext 5225 or email prevention@ville.hudson.qc.ca.
We hope to see you during The Great Escape!
