The Town of Hudson announces the launch of a series of public consultations that will play a crucial role in shaping the community’s future. Under the theme “Let’s Create Our Future Together – Count Me In!” residents are invited to actively participate in the development of three major projects that will lay the foundation for Hudson’s Strategic Plan.
Parcs and green spaces master plan
The Town of Hudson is pleased to invite its residents to participate in the development of its first Master Plan for Parks, Green Spaces, and Sports and Recreational Facilities. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the urban planning consultancy BC2.
The Master Plan will help identify the needs of all users of these spaces and will serve as a basis for planning interventions in the parks over the next 10 years.
A project of such magnitude can only achieve its goals if the residents, the primary users of these spaces, are able to guide the Town regarding their needs and wishes for the future.
Complete the Survey from September 11th to October 1st!
In this context, we invite you to complete the online survey, available from September 11th to October 1st, 2024: SURVEY
- It will take approximately 5 to 7 minutes to complete.
- Paper copies of the questionnaire are also available at Town Hall during business hours for the duration of the same period.
Attend the Public Consultation on October 23rd!
Additionally, we invite all residents to an in-person public consultation evening at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre on October 23 at 7:00 PM to work with us on the vision and priority interventions for the Master Plan. To register, please follow this link: REGISTER
Please note that a targeted questionnaire and discussion groups will also be organized, by invitation, with certain sports, recreational, community, and educational organizations.
The participation of many residents, both in completing the online survey and attending the public consultation evening, is essential in shaping the future of our parks and green spaces. We hope to count on your input!
