30 Aug Street paving operations: weeks of September 1st and 8th, 2024

Ali Excavation will be paving the following street sections during the weeks of September 1st and 8th:

  • Reid, in its entirety,
  • Cambridge, between Oxford and 52 Cambridge,
  • Fairhaven, between Cameron and Woodland,
  • Westwood, between Windcrest and 14 Westwood,
  • Mount Pleasant, between Cameron and McNaughten.

Due to the instability of the weather and various other unknown factors, it is currently impossible to provide a precise schedule for the completion of the work.

During surface preparation work, the streets will be closed with local traffic permitted.

However, during paving operations, the streets will be completely closed. Residents in these sections may have to wait up to 30 minutes to access or leave their property during these times.

IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS

  • Residents, visitors, contractors, etc. cannot park on the affected streets during these works.  Plan ahead and let your contractors/service providers know.
  • During paving operations, expect delays to enter and exit your driveway entrance.
  • Please drive with caution and respect all signage in place to ensure the safety of personnel working on this project.
