Public Notice to immovable owners and occupants of a business establishment

POLL OF NOVEMBER 2nd, 2025
PUBLIC NOTICE Is hereby given to the electors of the Town of Hudson by Mélissa Legault, Returning Officer, that:

the sole owners of an immovable who are not domiciled in the territory of the municipality that they can be entered on the list of electors for the general election if they meet the following conditions:

1. You may have the right to vote if you are the owner of an immovable or if you are the occupant of a business establishment in the municipality since at least 45 days on November 2, 2025.

2. To have this right, you must be 18 years of age or older and be a Canadian citizen on polling day. You must not be under tutorship or deprived of your election rights on that date.

3. To exercise your voting right, you must submit the appropriate document:

  • If you are the sole owner of an immovable or sole occupant of a business establishment, you must submit an application for entry.
  • If you are one of the co-owners of co-occupants of an immovable or a business establishment, you must submit a power of attorney designing one person among you, who will be entered on the list.

To obtain the required form, contact the returning officer. Please send the completed form to the address provided below.

4. In order for the application to be valid for the current election, you must submit your form no later than October 17, 2025.

The application for entry on the list of electors or the power of attorney remains valid until it is replaced or withdrawn. If you want to replace or withdraw an existing application for entry or a power of attorney, please contact the returning officer.
