14 Sep Public Notice – Tabling of the summary of the 2024 property assessment role
Is hereby given by Susan McKercher, Interim Town Clerk:
That the three-year property assessment roll for the Town of Hudson shall be in force in 2024 for its third fiscal year. The summary of the property assessment roll was tabled at my office on September 13th, 2023, and anyone wishing to do so may consult the property assessment roll on the Town’s website at: https://hudson.quebec/en/services/treasury/property assessment/.
It is also possible for anyone wishing to do so to consult it at Town Hall, 481 Main Road, Hudson, during regular office hours, which are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday.
In accordance with Section 74.1 of the Act respecting municipal taxation, notice is also given that any interested party in this regard may file, at any time during the fiscal year during which an event justifying a modification of the roll occurs, an application for review under Division I, Chapter X of the Act, on the grounds that the assessor did not make an alteration to the roll that he ought to have made pursuant to section 174 or 174.2 of the Act.
To be admissible, such a request for revision must meet the following conditions:
- Be filed within the fiscal year during which an event justifying a modification to the roll occurs, according to the law, or during the following fiscal year;
- Be filed at the following address or sent by certified mail to:
MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, 280, boulevard Harwood, Vaudreuil-Dorion (Québec) J7V 1Y5
- Be made on the appropriate form available at the above-mentioned location;
- Include the amount required in the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges’ by-law and must apply to the unit of assessment indicated in the application.
