08 Sep Public Notice – Public Consultation Meeting – September 19, 2023
Public notice is hereby given by the undersigned, Town Clerk of the Town of Hudson, of the following:
At its regular meetings held on Monday, September 5th, 2023, Council adopted the following draft By-Law:
“BY-LAW 526.16 AMENDING ZONING BY-LAW 526 TO ALLOW FIREPLACES IN THE FRONT YARD FOR COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS”
In accordance with an Act respecting land use planning and development (chapter A-19.1), a public consultation meeting will be held on September 19, 2023, at 6:30 PM, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, located at 394 Main Road, Hudson.
The purpose of this public consultation meeting is to explain draft By-Law 526.16, the object of which is to:
- Allow fireplaces in the front yard for commercial establishments.
During this meeting, the person presiding will explain the draft By-Law and will hear every person or body wishing to express an opinion exclusively on the modifications to be made to this by-law.
The draft By-Law 526.16 contains provisions making it subject to approval by way of referendum,
This draft By-Law is available for consultation at the Town Hall, 481 Main Road, Hudson, during working hours, which are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 to noon on Friday, as well as on the Town of Hudson website.
Please note that this meeting will not be live-streamed or recorded. Residents interested in attending this meeting must do so in person.
