14 Apr Trailer parking permits at Jack Layton Park
A seasonal parking permit is now required in order to park a vehicle with a trailer at Jack Layton Park. The permit is free for Hudson residents and $250 for non-residents.
Permits can be obtained at:
Town Hall, 481 Main Road, and
Stephen F. Shaar Community Center, 394 Main Road
between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Proof of residency and ownership of trailer:
Proof of residency is required for residents of Hudson, as well as proof of registration of the trailer. In addition, the trailer MUST be registered to the same address as the Hudson resident requesting the permit.
Methods of payment:
Cash or debit card. Credit cards are not accepted.
Fines for non-compliance:
Fines will be enforced beginning mid-May and apply to both residents and non-residents. The fines are $50 for the first offense and $250 for subsequent offenses.
Alternate parking will be available at the municipal snow dump, located at 26 Wharf Road, for trailers without parking permits.
