Spring flood update – Friday April 26th 2019

VIGILANCE LEVEL: HIGH 

According to the forecasts shared by the Direction régional de la sécurité civil, on Saturday we will surpass the 2017 flood water levels. Water levels will rise very quickly over the next 2 days. Riverside residents are reminded that the dedicated line: 450-458-4011 remains operational 24/7.

Town employees will be at the municipal garage, 529 Main, on Saturday April 27th from 8 am – 8 pm to lend a hand to riverside residents who come to fill and collect sandbags. Property owners are strongly advised to bring shovels and manpower to help with filling their sandbags.
