Replacment of railroad ties on the Vaudreuil-Hudson line from November 6th to 17th

The Réseau de transport métropolitain (RMT) will begin replacing the railroad ties on the Vaudreuil-Hudson line. This work, which requires the use of heavy machinery, will, for the most part, be done outside the town and should not cause undue inconvenience to the residents living close to the railway.

In addition, four level crossings will impacted as the replacement efforts advance along the tracks, vehicle traffic should not be affected.

Maintenance and repairs of the tracks will take place between 7 am and 5 pm, 7 days/week from Monday November 6th through to Thursday November 17th, weather permitting.

Level crossings impacted are:

  • Como Golf Club
  • Main Road
  • Royalview
  • Wharf Road

Although the RMT have put measures in place to minimize noise and dust levels, eliminating these inconveniences is not possible and residents may be impacted by elevated noise and dust levels during this 12-day period.
