Public notice : Public consultation meeting, draft by-laws 526.4, 525.2 and 526.6, Monday July 22nd 2019 at 7 pm

Public notice is hereby given by the undersigned, Town Clerk of the Town of Hudson, of the following:

At its regular meetings held on Monday, June, 3rd, 2019, Council adopted the following draft By-Laws:

“BY-LAW 526.4 AMENDING ZONING BY-LAW 526 TO ALLOW THE SUBDIVISION OF LOTS OF SMALLER SIZES IN ZONES R-28 AND R-33 WHERE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE”

AND

“BY-LAW 525.2 TO AMEND THE PLANNING PROGRAM IN ORDER TO ALLOW HIGHER DENSITY IN AREA H2 WHERE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE”

At its regular meetings held on Tuesday, July, 2nd, 2019, Council adopted the following draft By-Law:

“BY-LAW 526.6 TO AMEND ZONING BY-LAW 526 TO MODIFY DISPOSITIONS ON INTEGRATED PROJECTS”

In accordance with an Act respecting land use planning and development (chapter A-19.1), a public consultation meeting will be held on July 22nd, 2019, at 7:00 PM, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, located at 394 Main, Hudson.

The purpose of this public consultation meeting is to explain:

– Draft By-Law 526.4 the object of which is to amend the Zoning By-Law 526 in order to allow the subdivision of lots of smaller sizes in Zones R-28 and R-33 when the lots are serviced by water and sewer networks;
– Draft By-Law 525.2 the object of which is to amend the Planning Program to in order to allow higher density in area H2 where water and sewer systems are available;
– Draft By-Law 526.6 the object of which is to modify dispositions on integrated projects.

During this meeting, the person presiding will explain the draft by-laws and will hear every person or body wishing to express an opinion exclusively on the modifications to be made to these by-laws.

Draft By-Law 525.2 is not subject to approval by way of referendum.

The first draft of By-Laws 526.4 and 526.6 are subject to approval by way of referendum in accordance with section 123 al.3 (1) of the Act Respecting Land Use Planning and Development.

These draft By-Laws are available for consultation at the Town Hall, 481 Main, Hudson, during working hours which are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 am to 12:00 (noon) on Fridays or by clicking on the links below.
