Outdoor use of potable water restricted as of May 7th 2019

Water Stewardship

  • Manual watering of flowers and gardens (by-law 631, article 4.2)
  • The filling of swimming pools with a single hose is permitted between 9 p.m. and midnight (by-law 631, article 8.5.1)
  • The filling of a new swimming pool is allowed according to the conditions described in the swimming pool permit
  • Watering on a construction site (by-law 631, articles 8.3.1 and 8.3.3)
  • Watering for lawn treatment with biopesticides (nematodes) (by-law 631, article 8.6)
  • Washing a parking lot, driveway or patio in order to apply a protective coating (by-law 631, article 8.1.2)
