Public consultation meeting - draft by-law 709-2018

At its regular meeting held on Monday, June 4th, 2018, Council adopted the first draft By-Law No 709-2018 entitled “BY-LAW 709 BY-LAW GOVERNING SPECIFIC CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATIONS OR OCCUPANCY PROPOSALS FOR AN IMMOVABLE”.

In accordance with An Act respecting land use planning and development (chapter A-19.1), a public consultation meeting will be held on Monday, June 18th, 2018, at 7:30 PM, at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre located at 394 Main, Hudson.

The purpose of this public consultation meeting is to explain draft By-Law No 709-2018 the object of which is to establish a procedure for the presentation and evaluation of specific construction, alterations or occupancy proposals for an immovable.

During this meeting, the person presiding will explain the draft by-law and will hear every person or body wishing to express an opinion exclusively on the modifications to be made to the by-law.

This draft by-law does not contain provisions making it a by-law subject to approval by way of referendum.

This by-law may be reviewed at the Town Hall, 481 Main, Hudson, during working hours which are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 am to 12:00 (noon) on Fridays.
