SUMMARY:Theatrical production of Almost\, Maine
DESCRIPTION:On a cold\, clear winter night in the mythical town of Almost\, Maine\, the northern lights shimmer above as residents stumble into love in the most unexpected ways. SUMMARY:Concert - Tous Les Temps Perdus with Miriam Sekhon & Liza Miller
DESCRIPTION:Concert – Tous Les Temps Perdus with Miriam Sekhon & Liza Miller\n \n\n Hudson Creative Hub\n 273 Main Road\n Saturday\, April 25 | 8 pm\n \n\n Adults: $35 – Youth: $15 (ID required)\n Tickets:\n \n Book here\n \n \n\n A lifetime of friendship in song: from cabaret to modern chanson\n \n\n Miriam Sekhon and Liza Miller have known each other since childhood. They grew up in Moscow\, side by side\, long before music became an experience they would share on stage.\n \n\n After the Russian invasion of Ukraine\, they each left the country and\, by chance\, both found their way to Montreal.\n \n\n Though they have been friends all their lives\, it is here that they became musical partners\, discovering in that closeness a new kind of comfort — something steady\, instinctive\, and deeply familiar.\n \n\n For one evening\, they transform the space into a piano bar — a salon moving through languages and the 20th century. The program drifts between jazz\, chanson\, and film music\, carried by a natural ease\, a quiet playfulness\, and a stage presence rooted in trust. Between them is an understanding that rarely needs words.\n \n\n Miriam has performed in theatre\, film\, and concert since the age of 16\, across Moscow and Europe. Liza\, trained in France\, Moscow\, and the United States\, is now a professor at McGill University and performs at festivals internationally.\n \n\n This is an evening that feels lived-in\, warm\, and intimate — a little like family — where music becomes a way of being together.

SUMMARY:Sandra Bouza – In Concert
DESCRIPTION:Sandra Bouza – In Concert\nHudson Creative Hub\n273 Main Road \nFriday\, May 8 | 8 pm\nDoors open at 7 pm \nTickets: $35\nYouth tickets: $15\nFor children under 18 or post-secondary students (ID required)\nhttps://hudsoncreativehub.org/fr/event/sandra-bouza-live-in-concert/ \nAn intimate evening of blues\, soul\, and storytelling. \nSome artists entertain. Others stop you in your tracks. \nSandra Bouza is one of those rare voices that gets under your skin — the kind that quiets a room and holds it there. Rooted in folk storytelling and carried by a powerful blues-rock soul\, her songs are deeply human: raw\, honest\, and full of quiet fire. \nBouza’s voice moves effortlessly from smouldering restraint to full-bodied release\, drawing on the emotional depth of classic R&B and blues while remaining unmistakably her own. Critics have praised her command of the moment\, her emotional clarity\, and her ability to convey lived experience without artifice. This is music shaped by travel\, reflection\, resilience\, and hard-won self-knowledge. \nLive\, Sandra Bouza is magnetic. Whether backed by a groove or standing nearly alone with her guitar\, she invites listeners into songs that explore belonging\, recovery\, strength\, and transformation — not as abstract ideas\, but as stories you can feel in your bones. \nThis concert at the Hudson Creative Hub offers a rare chance to experience her in an intimate listening-room setting\, where every lyric lands and every nuance matters. If you love powerful voices\, great songwriting\, and performances that linger long after the last note fades\, this night is for you.

DESCRIPTION:Jessica Rhaye with Preeper & MacKay \nSunday\, November 8\nHudson Creative Hub\n273 Main Road\, Hudson \n\nTickets: https://hudsoncreativehub.org/event/jessica-rhaye-with-preeper-mackay/\n \n\nDoors: 7:00 PM | Show: 8:00 PM\n \n\nStep into an evening of rich harmonies\, heartfelt songwriting\, and timeless folk traditions.\n \n\nJessica Rhaye joins forces with Bill Preeper and Sandy MacKay for a concert that blends Maritime roots with Appalachian soul. Inspired by the folk revival of the 1960s\, this trio brings a fresh\, contemporary energy to classic traditions.\n \n\nTheir music is built on beautifully woven three-part harmonies\, shared lead vocals\, and a warm mix of acoustic and electric textures. Think echoes of Greenwich Village\, with influences ranging from Woody Guthrie to Ian Tyson and Bob Dylan—yet grounded in something distinctly their own.\n \n\nJessica Rhaye\, an acclaimed Canadian songwriter with over 25 years of touring and eight albums\, leads with clarity and warmth\, her high harmonies and shimmering guitar work anchoring the trio’s sound. Bill Preeper’s intricate fingerstyle guitar and deep vocal tones add texture and depth\, while Sandy MacKay’s multi-instrumental mastery—upright bass\, mandolin\, and banjo—brings both rhythm and richness to the stage.\n \n\nTogether\, they create something intimate\, powerful\, and deeply human—a sound often compared to a modern-day Peter\, Paul & Mary.\n \n\nWhether you’re a lifelong folk fan or simply looking for a meaningful night of live music\, this concert invites you to slow down\, listen closely\, and connect.
