On Saturday\, January 24\, 2026\, the Hudson Legion will host its annual Burns Supper in the Hudson Community Center. Celebrants will gather at the Legion at 5 pm\, and the festivities commence in the Community Center at 6 pm. \nTickets are $50 per person and will be on sale at the Legion Bar (450-458-4882). They must be purchased in advance as there will be no ticket sales at the door. \nSo\, mark your agendas\, call your friends\, shake the creases out of your kilts\, get out your tartans and dancing shoes\, and prepare for a great evening of good food\, yes there will be haggis\, entertainment and dancing as we pay tribute to Scotland’s national poet on his 267th birthday. \nWhat better way to banish the January blues than good company\, great music and a “wee dram.”

SUMMARY:Theatrical production of God of Carnage
DESCRIPTION:When two sets of parents meet to discuss a playground altercation between their eleven-year-old sons\, civility quickly becomes the first casualty. \nYasmina Reza’s incisive comedy watches these four educated\, affluent adults—armed with good intentions and liberal values—systematically dismantle each other and themselves. \nAs carefully maintained façades crumble and alliances shift\, the play exposes the thin line between sophistication and savagery\, asking uncomfortable questions about the myths we construct around parenthood\, marriage\, class\, and our supposed evolution beyond our baser natures. \nFebruary 4 to 15\, 2026\, matinées and evenings. \nHudson Village Theatre\, 28 Wharf\, Hudson \nTickets: 39$ \nTicket office: 450-458-5361

SUMMARY:Vernissage: Mona Turner
DESCRIPTION:Vernissage : Mona Turner\nHudson Creative Hub\n273 Main Road\nSunday\, February 8 | 2 – 4 pm \nThe Hudson Creative Hub is delighted to invite you to the vernissage of artist Mona Turner on Sunday\, February 8\, at 2:00 pm. Mona is a member of Artistes Hudson Artists group and participates in the Hudson and Region Studio Tour; she has served on the executive committees of both associations. Mona is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists. \n“Living in a rural environment and spending time outdoors observing and listening opens my mind to the myriad of lives and energies\, the buzz of a thousand umwelten. I watch birds that sometimes seem determined\, sometimes playful\, and I wonder what they see through their monocular eyes\, two views at once. With this series of paintings\, I explore not only the appearance of the landscape but also the feeling of being a part of it.” \nImmerse yourself in Mona Turner’s world and let her works carry you away.
