We drive along Main Road and catch glimpses of fields and forest—but how much do we really know about the life thriving there? \nWith their cameras and a great deal of patience\, Creek 53 Resident Photographer Stéphane Hogue\, Resident Birder Wayne Grubert\, along with their intrepid volunteers and researchers\, have caught nature in the act and are eager to share their work with us. From wide open landscapes to tiny insect life\, they have captured the natural world of Creek 53 in all its diversity and intriguing beauty. \nThe exhibition opens on Sunday\, April 26 with a free public vernissage from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Hudson Creative Hub. Drop by to meet the photographers and chat with Creek 53 volunteers and trustees. \nOur local biodiversity is worth celebrating and protecting. They grew up in Moscow\, side by side\, long before music became an experience they would share on stage.\n   \n\n    After the Russian invasion of Ukraine\, they each left the country and\, by chance\, both found their way to Montreal.\n   \n\n    Though they have been friends all their lives\, it is here that they became musical partners\, discovering in that closeness a new kind of comfort — something steady\, instinctive\, and deeply familiar.\n   \n\n    For one evening\, they transform the space into a piano bar — a salon moving through languages and the 20th century. The program drifts between jazz\, chanson\, and film music\, carried by a natural ease\, a quiet playfulness\, and a stage presence rooted in trust. Between them is an understanding that rarely needs words.\n   \n\n    Miriam has performed in theatre\, film\, and concert since the age of 16\, across Moscow and Europe.
