DESCRIPTION:July 1st – Canada Day \nThe countdown is on! 🍁🎉 \nGet ready to celebrate the Hudson way: a day filled with entertainment\, music\, family moments\, and outdoor fun. ☀️🇨🇦\nCome enjoy the festivities\, make great memories\, and share a special moment with the community.\nWe hope to see you there! \n\nProgramming: \nBenson Park \n12 PM to 5 PM : \n\nJumpaï (bungee trampoline) and other bouncy castles\nCreation of two live community art panels by Marion Ellisalde of Emberlume\, in collaboration with residents\, on the theme of Canada Day\nFace painting\nFoam party\, airbrush activities\, and other youth programming presented by Jeunesse 360\nLive broadcasting by RKR 101.7 radio station\nHenna tattoos\nScouts BBQ\nInformation booths from the following organizations:\n\nHudson Historical Society\nLe Nichoir\nMP Peter Schiefke’s Office\nHudson Fire Department\nFood vendors\n\n\n\n 12:30 PM / 1:30 PM / 2:30 PM – Roving musical performance by stilt walkers \n3:00 PM – 3:45 PM – Clown show \n4:00 PM – 4:30 PM \n\nOfficial ceremony and flag-raising with elected officials\nFeaturing the Hudson Community Choir and Hudson Young Voices performing O Canada and additional songs\n\n5:00 PM: End of programming \nJack Layton Park \n5:30 PM: Site opens \n7 PM – 11 PM: Laser Tag and Glow-themed activities for youth and families. \n7:00 PM: The Quebec Association for Folk Recreation (Association Québécoise du Loisir Folklorique) presents one song from each Canadian province \n7:30 PM:  Installation on stage of the two 4′ x 8′ art panels created during the day by the artist and community members\, followed by a brief presentation about the artwork. \n7:45 PM: Irish dance performance \n8:00 PM: Star Dance presents a country line dancing crash course \n8:30 PM: Performance by Melt It Up Country Band\, with dancers from Star Dance getting you up on your feet and dancing! \n10:00 PM: Fireworks \n10:15 PM: DJ set with DJ Truspin \n11:00 PM: End of event
